In a house at the end of the world, a woman talks to herself. The words pile up, become tangled and fill the space. Then she takes out her knitting needles and begins to knit. Stitch by stitch, stories come to life: mischievous princesses, daring princes, slightly absent-minded kings… tales of love, cunning and adventure, where imagination never runs out of yarn.

Inspired by One Thousand and One Nights and her Lebanese roots, Layla Darwiche draws on the traditions of the Middle East and her childhood memories. For more than twenty years, she has shared these tales in France and elsewhere. A moment to experience together, between mischief, poetry and wonder.
