Time Is Chasing Me… is a clowning poem about the passage of time, the body that wears out and plays, and everything that prevents us from living fully. Alone in front of the audience, a clumsy clown struggles with objects, his words and himself. Caught between the injunction to stay young, the fear of being left behind and the desire for wonder, he stumbles, doubts and resists. It is neither a story nor a routine: it is a funny and sensitive tableau.
