Le Tout-Petit Festival
Story readings, performances for very young children, musical discovery, concerts, exhibitions, and many workshops.
About this event
From November 13 to 28, Marseille’s libraries celebrate very young children and their families. For its 4th edition, the City of Marseille is offering children aged 0 to 5 a festival designed just for them: musical readings and kamishibai (traditional Japanese picture-story theater), musical discovery, performances, gym-and-drawing or maraca-making workshops, sound and sensory exhibitions, a screening, and even a fantastic baby dance party!
Discovering the senses is at the heart of this festival, which comes to life in your libraries and also takes over the city on Saturday, November 28, for a day of cultural and artistic discovery dedicated to very young children and their families, co-organized with the Réseau Art et Tout-Petit Provence. The program includes activities in nurseries, museums, and even at the Opera, including a playful tour.
In Marseille, artistic and cultural discovery begins in the cradle, and the city’s libraries are the first places where your little ones can explore.
Le Tout-Petit Festival concludes with a special day of cultural and artistic discovery for families, in and beyond the libraries. Open to very young children and their parents, it’s an opportunity to explore artistic creation together in cultural venues and early childhood centers.
This day is co-organized by the Department of Culture, the Department of Early Childhood, and the Réseau Art et Tout-Petit Provence.
