September 29 - 7:30 p.m.: Marcel Pagnol, Variations d'amour

A poetic and musical duo conceived by Nicolas Pagnol, Variations d'amour is an intimate and ardent portrait of an artist who wrote about love with the talent of those who have experienced it. Carried by Vincent Fernandel’s sunny voice, Marcel Pagnol’s finest words meet the poetry of Franck Ciup’s compositions in a setting woven from excerpts from famous works and personal correspondence—two arts coming together to create a third, between laughter and emotion.
