Lire c'est partir

Designed for schools but also open to the general public, this event gives everyone the chance to discover and buy books for children for just 0,90 € per copy.

Books within everyone's reach The Lire c'est partir association champions a simple idea: giving all children access to the pleasure of reading, whatever their means.

Without making a profit, it offers a selection of children's books at cost price: picture books, folktales and novels invite young readers to discover new stories and develop their imagination.

This initiative encourages access to reading and allows families and schools to build or expand their libraries at low cost.

Inspiring children to love reading Reading is about much more than discovering a story. It also feeds the imagination, enriches vocabulary, develops curiosity and opens children up to others.

From an early age, books accompany children as they make discoveries and encourage moments of sharing with family.

This exhibition and sale is an opportunity to introduce younger children to the pleasure of words and pass on a love of reading.

Gift ideas ahead of Christmas With the year-end holidays just a few weeks away, this sale is also a great opportunity to tuck books under the tree.

At just 0,90 € per book, everyone can find affordable gifts that can be read, reread and passed on.
