Marie Desroles dans C'est que de l'amour

She commands attention with incisive, sensitive humor that combines social criticism, feminism and introspection. Her writing, both tender and sharp, explores contemporary taboos with distinctive energy and disarming sincerity.

After earning a master’s degree in sociology, Marie Desroles chose the stage, driven by a desire to explore humanity through laughter. Her participation in the Les Impertinentes competition opened the doors of the Point Virgule. Since 2010, she has honed her stand-up act in all of Paris’s comedy clubs, enabling her to perform at iconic venues such as Jamel Comedy Club, Le Paname Comedy and Point Virgule; at the same time, she has made numerous appearances on shows including Génération Paname (France 2), Soixante (Canal+) and Teva Comedy.

In 2025, she joined the team of La Riposte on Radio Nova, confirming her place among the emerging comedians of the new wave.

Today, she performs throughout France with her show C'est que de l'amour, which ran for three years at Palais des Glaces and Théâtre des Mathurins, continuing her mission: to make people laugh, make them think and, above all, bring them together.
