A bailaora, choreographer and director of Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía, Patricia Guerrero belongs to a generation of artists who draw deeply on tradition while constantly seeking to push the boundaries of flamenco.
Her baile is powerful, precise, instinctive and deeply personal, distinguished by great freedom of movement and an ongoing exploration of musicality, interpretation and stage presence.
In her masterclasses, Patricia Guerrero teaches a flamenco that is both demanding and musical, and deeply personal. Technique plays an essential role, but always in service of interpretation and expression.
She invites dancers to work on their musical listening, quality of movement, presence and ability to improvise, while developing their own personality in the baile.
More than a choreography, Patricia Guerrero offers a genuine exploration of the body and flamenco: understanding the codes, feeling them and finding your own way to bring them to life.
