MØL: the journey of a blackgaze band from Denmark

Originally from Aarhus, Denmark, MØL has forged a distinctive sound by fusing atmospheric black metal and shoegaze, a style known as blackgaze. After two self-produced EPs in 2014 and 2015, the band signed with the prestigious Nuclear Blast label, which released their complete album discography.

MØL released their first album, JORD, in 2018, followed by DIORAMA in 2021. In January 2026, the band released their third album, DREAMCRUSH, along with several singles and music videos made in collaboration with John Bradburn. The current lineup consists of Kim Song Sternkopf on vocals, Holger Rumph-Frost on bass, Ken Lund Klejs on drums, and Nicolai Busse Bladt and Sigurd Kehlet on guitars.
