Nedjma Bachi and Friends

Nedjma Bachi and Friends at La Caravelle. La Caravelle invites you to immerse yourself in the world of Nedjma Bachi, a jazz singer with a radiant sensibility who is active between the south of France and Paris, performing in a range of musical projects, primarily jazz but also Sephardic music.

For this evening, Nedjma brings together artists who are dear to her, both personally and musically, to form an intense, close-knit and inspired trio.

By her side is pianist Yann Delaunay, a remarkable musician with a vibrant style. A jazz pianist originally from New Caledonia, he is now very active on the Marseille music scene through various projects combining modern jazz, composition and bossa nova. An arranger, composer and performer, he has developed a distinctive musical signature and regularly performs in Paris, Marseille and elsewhere. On double bass, Adrien Coulomb brings depth and mastery of sound: a mature, powerful double bass, essential to that special feeling people seek when they attend a jazz concert.

For this concert, the trio presents a repertoire combining great standards and original compositions, in a lively, sincere jazz that is close to its purest essence: sharing and improvisation.

A musical journey through pieces that have shaped the history of jazz, and others, more intimate, that tell the story of a path and a world still evolving.

“Nedjma Bachi and Friends” promises an evening of jazz led by a close-knit, passionate trio.
