On n'y voit ... que du bleu !

Sylvie Peiffer loves nature and depicts it in her paintings in many different ways. Sea, mountains, fauna, and flora vibrate and unfold beneath her palette knife, revealed in oil to become texture and light. “ON N’Y VOIT… QUE DU BLEU !” is the title of her new exhibition. A “sea’painting” that speaks to us of the sea, its beauty, and its waves, which crash or stretch out languidly and seductively. An ode to this color as it bursts across the canvases, now deep and intense, now dazzling and captivating. Then, as the eye lingers and adjusts, blue reveals itself, becoming a range of shades in a multitude of hues, until it carries us away. The exhibition then takes us by the hand and transports us to the calanques, along the trails, and to the water’s edge by the rocks. And we dive with delight into this generous blue, which fills our eyes.
