About this event
Come celebrate the close of the second edition of Performer la Ville at Jardin du Pharo! The evening will begin with a « Hors Plateau » conversation with the artists of the UV LAB collective and a discussion about Saison Méditerranée with artistic curator Julie Kretzschmar. The evening will continue with a DJ set by the UV LAB collective around the work Mar Nostro, a final tribute before it is dismantled.

Hors-Plateau on Saison Méditerranée
After more than five months in Jardin du Pharo, Mar Nostro by the UV LAB collective will be dismantled at the end of October. This totemic work has accompanied the entire Saison Méditerranée. As a closing event, join the Hors-Plateau conversation with the artists, who will present their approach. General curator Julie Kretzschmar will be there to offer an initial assessment of Saison Méditerranée, a program that began in Marseille last May, reached across France, and celebrated the shared destinies of the two shores of the Mediterranean through art and culture. Other Mediterranean artists invited for Performer la Ville #2 will also take part.

At 8 p.m.: AÏCHOUCHA – KHALIL EPI
In the second part of the evening, enjoy a concert-film by Tunisian artist Khalil Epi, combining electronic music with a panoramic screening of a film shot in Tunisia. In Jardin du Pharo, surrounded by three 270-degree screens and accompanied by his machines and synthesizers, Khalil Epi takes the audience on a sonic and cinematic journey in the footsteps of traditional music.
