Filmed in Mohammedia, Tunisia, the film traces twelve years in Mehrez’s life. A talented dancer and actor, but also addicted to gambling and horse racing, he struggles against himself and against the disconcerting contradictions of his country. In his tireless quest for sincere emotions, Mehrez defies all established rules.
