Soirée de cloture de la saison jour 1 : Zaar Electrik et Adarab
Zar élektrik -Season closing party On September 24 & 25, these will be the final two evenings to close Le Talus’s season. But above all… the final two evenings at the Village!
Yes, after all these years of having drinks, dancing, eating, gardening, tinkering, meeting one another and putting the world to rights, it is time to say goodbye to this part of Le Talus. But we are not going to leave this place just like that! We are going to do what we do best: come together and party!
For this first closing party, we have planned a penultimate dance with the renowned Zar Élektrik, with Adarab as the opening act. Adarab, aka Chama Cherqaoui, inspired by her Moroccan roots, builds bridges between house, electro-techno, Raï and global traditional music. Her sets explore the organic grooves of Afro-house while plunging into the hypnotic intensity of contemporary North African electronic music. Between percussive rhythms and dreamy downtempo textures, she invites the audience to a festive and collective sonic experience, where heritage and the future meet on the dance floor. When Gnawa trances meet loops from sub-Saharan music and merge with the most bewitching electro, the celebration is bound to be explosive. On the dance floors of this African electro, Anass Zine and Arthur Péneau, singer-instrumentalists on gumbri, oud and electric kora, bring in Did Miosine on machines for a bewitching trip to the far reaches of the Maghreb. Behind the enchanting or roaring voices, the call to dance comes through rhythms and ternary surges steeped in electro. It spins until it makes you dizzy, bubbling and swirling in endless trances echoing the Orient and stateless grooves.Distribution:Anass Zine (vocals, oud, gumbri, guitar, percussion)Arthur Péneau (vocals, kora, percussion)Didier Simione (machines, synths)
