Soirée de cloture de la saison jour 2 : Tutte Quante, Basstong, Didier la rafale

The closing of Le Talus’s summer season! After a summer filled with concerts, open-air events, gatherings and evenings under the stars, it is time to bring this wonderful season to a proper close!

On Friday, September 25, meet us at Le Talus for our last evening at the village before its redevelopment. We have prepared a colorful program, featuring polyphonic singing, Balkan rhythms, low-tech techno and powerful beats. A few surprises will round out the evening…

On the program: - Tutte Quante. This is a large choir of 85 women, led by singer Lise Massal. Through polyphony, they tell the stories of women’s joys, sorrows and struggles across the centuries and territories. Popular and traditional Italian, Occitan, Spanish and many other songs, work songs, protest songs, feminist songs…

- Didier La Rafale A live aquatic Balkan-electro duo where clarinet, saxophone, violin, vocals and machines invite you to dance on a hypnotic journey. Born on traveling performance sailboats in the Mediterranean, the project has now dropped anchor on dry land to scatter its sea-star dust. Kind, fun, lighthearted but also conscious, sometimes funny and sometimes touching, Didier la Rafale summons stories and heavy kicks to engage the body and the imagination. At 220 BPM, destination: the subconscious. ❤

- Basstong Now for techlow music: acoustic low-tech techno, without electricity, made from instruments built with recycled materials. A one-man band practicing unconventional instrument-making, Basstong offers a low-tech alternative to DJ sets, with humans replacing computers. Percussive polyrhythms, homemade instruments and 100% elbow grease: a musical journey toward a more sustainable and utopian future.

And surprises One last evening to dance, sing, come together and celebrate everything that made Le Talus come alive this season.

Remember to get your tickets in advance to ensure the event can go ahead. Artists, collectives and venues incur significant costs to organize these events. Without a guaranteed minimum audience, some evenings unfortunately cannot go ahead. Le Talus, created from a former vacant lot, is a socio-environmental and cultural third place.
