An immersion in the essence of flamenco

Discover one of flamenco's most explosive and fascinating palos: bulería.

This time, under the kind and expert guidance of María Pérez, Maestra at Centre Solea, you will explore this iconic form through an accessible, sensitive and thoroughly embodied approach.

An intensive two-day course, open to beginners—including complete beginners—as well as experienced dancers looking to strengthen their foundations and stage presence.

The program:

Learning basic patá por bulería steps

Developing a physical and rhythmic feel for these elements

Working on interpretation, flamenco attitude, grounding and listening

The goal is clear:

By the end of the workshop, each student should be able to connect with their emotions and feelings, and thus get a sense of the essence of bulería: a subtle blend of rhythm, instinct and personality.

Particular attention will be paid to musical listening and reproducing the compás, to support free and authentic expression in improvisation.

The workshops are designed as a complete teaching unit or module. You need to attend the entire workshop to get the full benefit. In exceptional circumstances, it is possible to attend only part of it. In that case, you must attend the first classes.
