Stage de chant à danser avec Élio Nardini

DANCE-SONG WORKSHOP led by Élio Nardini on December 19 & 20, 2026 At Musiques en Fabrique, 151bd Libération, 13005 Marseille Starting from a traditional repertoire in Occitan and French, we will explore the rhythmic and melodic particularities of dance songs, drawing on the cadence specific to each dance: ornamentation, repetition techniques, prosody, and polyphony. Held in a supportive and encouraging environment, the workshop program includes vocal technique sessions, rhythmic and vibrational exercises, song-arrangement exercises, and a few dance sessions. All singing levels are welcome, which means that the more experienced participants adapt and the beginners rise to the challenge! The workshop takes place in the magnificent hall of Musiques en Fabriques, located right in central Marseille. Address: 151 bd Libération, 13005 Marseille Schedule: 09:30-18:00, with a shared lunch. A singer and musician, she trained for a year and a half in Occitan traditional music through the Caminaires #1 program, and developed her vocal technique and teaching skills with Emmanuel Pesnot (the “Passeurs de chant” program). She composes, sings, and plays the bowed psaltery in the groups Nenia Ira (pop/post-trad), Dourdou (Occitan trance), and several bal formations currently being created.
