Organization: ASSOCIATION VON AMOUR
Anar Von Amour was born at Boardwalk Factory under the watchful eye of Coney Bow. After earning a degree in art history, a university diploma in art therapy, and training in dance and yoga, I encountered burlesque. This art immediately felt like an obvious choice to me; both therapeutic and creative, it allows everyone to reveal themselves, to themselves and to the world.

Through simplified access to the stage, the burlesque artist has the opportunity to bare themselves, physically and symbolically. In this way, the practice takes on a cathartic dimension, enabling everyone to assert themselves and build self-confidence.
Through individual or team work and interaction with others (the audience), burlesque artists have the opportunity to take up space and express what lies deep within them, with respect for the diversity of bodies, genders, social backgrounds, sexualities, origins and skin colors of every individual.
