Discover a jazz standard, with individual work accompanied by an instrumentalist.
The morning will focus on discovering a theme from the jazz repertoire: melody, chord progression, rhythm and improvisation. In the afternoon, individual work accompanied by an instrumentalist on a jazz piece of your choice will provide an opportunity to explore interpretation, stage presence and confidence, and to develop the concepts covered in the morning through personalized accompaniment.
At the end of the workshop, you will be provided with sound files and paper documents. Previous singing experience is required, and the workshop is limited to 12 participants.

Organization: CASA AMARELA
The Casa Amarela association is a very young association, created on 25 August 2023. Its purpose is to pass on, disseminate, produce and promote world cultures and foster intercultural exchange. Since our creation, we have supported artists with their administrative procedures in order to support their creative projects, the dissemination and production of their shows, and we carry out educational activities for different audiences to raise awareness of musical cultures such as jazz and traditional Brazilian music.
