VOCAL JAZZ WORKSHOPS 2025/26 1 workshop per quarter, led by Caroline Tolla and accompanied by a high-quality instrumentalist. VOCAL JAZZ WORKSHOPS from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at La Maison du Chant - 49 rue Chape, 13004 Price: €55 / workshop + Membership of the Casa Amarela Association (€5) DATES - Saturday, December 13, 2025 - Saturday, March 21, 2026 - Saturday, June 13, 2026 Discover a jazz standard and work individually with instrumental accompaniment. The morning will be devoted to discovering a theme from the jazz repertoire: melody, chord progression, rhythm and improvisation. In the afternoon, individual work with an instrumentalist on a jazz piece of your choice will provide an opportunity to explore interpretation, stage presence and comfort, and to refine the concepts covered in the morning through personalized guidance. At the end of the workshop, you will be provided with: audio files and paper documents. Previous singing experience is required, and the workshop is limited to 12 participants. PROGRAM * 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: complete warm-up and highlighting of vocal tools, discovery of a jazz standard * 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.: shared lunch break * 1:30 to 5:00 p.m.: individual exploration of the piece of your choice, accompanied by an instrumentalist. For a more convivial atmosphere, please bring a dish to share for the lunch break.
