Thomas Piet presents his show Koala as a solo performer; Koala is a funny, musical and intimate one-man show in which Thomas takes apart everything that has been put into his head to make him a “real fucking man!” From birth to adulthood, he humorously dismantles the demands of masculinity: suppressing emotions, hating one’s body, performing sex and staying silent. Between biting satire and deeply moving moments, Koala explores masculinity, consent, vulnerability and reconciliation with oneself.
