Toujours cela bruit en moi

Lo Guenin Le Phare à Lucioles Telling one’s story, through sound and solo performance. With There Is Still This Noise in Me, Lo Guénin, directed by Céleste Germe (Das Plateau), creates a sound fable on the threshold between a concert and a musical play, traversing the end of childhood and the beginning of adolescence. An eleven-year-old, then a fifteen-year-old, at school, not without difficulties, struggling with himself and with others. Poetry and music: only sounds make his body perceptible. Deeply rooted in reality, this performance unfolds through writing made of echoes and shifts, where poetry is born from attention to details and perceptions. An invitation to move through memory as emotions surface. Lo Guénin examines identity in the making, the gaze of others, shame, and the norms that shape and constrain, but also the power of imagination and childhood. We are invited to celebrate unconventional paths, those who stand apart, and fragile strengths. The noise of others gives way to a song of one’s own.
