Typhée

Self-taught and passionate, Typhée decided to devote himself fully to music in 2024 with a clear goal: to make his mark on Marseille.

He set himself the challenge of releasing a track every two weeks in 2025. For 10 months, he released singles, collaborated with other artists and filmed content at a relentless pace.

He has played all over Marseille and collaborated with the emerging new scene that is changing the sound of Marseille rap. He has worked with Eniah, L’as, Mehdi Miklo, Garrinsha, Khara and many others. The days of Jul-type beats are over: the new Marseille sound is sunny, tinged with melancholy and shaped by a well-judged melodic touch—and that is what characterizes Typhee’s style.

Originally from Beausoleil in Marseille’s 4th arrondissement (at the start of the northern neighborhoods), Typhee speaks with authenticity about life in the neighborhood, his doubts and his romantic relationships. Far from inventing a character, Typhee opens up, delivering raw messages or sharp punchlines over a melody (like any good Marseillais).

After a busy 2025, he is back with a five-track mixtape, T.Y, which confirms his artistic progress. He is also beginning to work with renowned beatmakers such as Rosalie du 38 and P2winder. The project also features DeSouza, another emerging Marseille artist.

A more complete project is planned for late 2026, and with great opportunities on the horizon, it’s worth remembering Typhee’s name—and seeing him before everyone else.
