Unité.22 : Miley serious b2b pura pura, koumiya, keuj

There are nights when you more or less know what to expect, and then there are nights when you’d rather not ask too many questions. Somewhere between British bass cultures, rap’s mutations and club experimentation, we’ve put together a joyful mess that should bring everyone together. Or at least get everyone moving.

At the heart of it all, a b2b we’ve been seriously itching to hear: big boss Miley Serious, founder of the 99CTS label and a free spirit between Paris and New York, meets Pura Pura, a practitioner of open-minded club music whose productions find their way into sets by Jamie xx, Special Request and Om Unit. Two hard-hitting selections spanning breaks, juke, footwork and other rhythmic delights. We’re giving them four decks, a finely tuned sound system and a Marseille crowd ready to explode. We’ll see what comes next.

To contain this little bit of organized chaos, our Keuj, the blue-and-white final boss of Bass Music, will open the night before handing over to Koumiya, a French-Moroccan producer based in Marseille who brings UK bass, drum’n’bass, footwork and influences from Arab and diasporic scenes into dialogue. The end of the night promises a few thrilling detours.

In short, a night for anyone who likes their club music to spill beyond the usual categories, and collective euphoria to take over 22 Rue Jobin.

MILEY SERIOUS Meet Miley Serious, the driving force behind 99CTS RECORDS. A DJ, label founder and true trendsetter, she pushes boundaries and divides her time between the vibrant scenes of Paris and New York. A bold fashion icon, she effortlessly fuses electronic music and punk, making 99CTS RECORDS much more than a label: a genuine cultural movement. A resident at the legendary Rex Club and an associate of Berlin collective Killekill, Miley delivers sets that feel like a sonic journey defying all conventions. Her sharp selections combine bass, breaks, drum’n’bass and electronic rhythms, confirming her status as an influential figure who continually pushes the boundaries of sound. But Miley Serious is more than a DJ. As a radio show and event curator, she builds connections between diverse platforms—such as The Lot Radio and Rinse France—to create a global mosaic of music and culture. Praised by BR, Japan Nylon and other influential media, Miley Serious stands out not only as a major figure on the music scene, but also as a charismatic personality who electrifies dancefloors around the world. Step into her world, where every beat tells a story and every set becomes an exploration of the unknown.

KOUMIYA Koumiya is a French-Moroccan multidisciplinary artist based in Marseille. A DJ, her sound moves between bass music, jungle, dnb, footwork and rap. In the club and in the studio, by night and by day, she inhabits a wild and emotional sound. Drawing on contemporary Arab and North African scenes and BiPOC communities, her sets forge sonic alliances that embrace the dancefloor with a sound that is free and full of tension. Her instinctive approach to mixing combines incisive cuts and sonic hybridization, balancing raw energy and poetry.

PURA PURA Pura Pura is a Paris-based DJ and producer who is a resident on Rinse France and Piñata Radio. For more than ten years, he has championed a sound that refuses categories: rap, juke, footwork and club music all come together in his sets and productions. He has made this approach his own, and it is now his signature. His edits and tracks, played on BBC1 and France Inter, also feature on the USB sticks of numerous DJs and have been heard in sets by Jamie XX, Special Request and Om Unit. He has made dancefloors move throughout France and the United States, from Paris to New York. In 2026, he releases music on the Japanese label Trekkie Trax, puts out a footwork album with Hyas and an EP on Raprave in collaboration with Dj Swisha, Jialing, nextdimensional, papo2oo4 and many others.
