The Museum of Mediterranean Archaeology, located at the Centre de la Vieille Charité, houses what may be considered Marseille's oldest collection of antiquities. Divided into two departments (Egypt and the Mediterranean Basin / Near East), the museum offers exceptional archaeological treasures, presenting a wide range of themes: art, archaeology, history, science, mythology and the history of ancient religions.

The tour is led by the museum's education team and interpreters from the Centre d'Interprétariat de Liaison en Langue des Signes Française.
