Located at the entrance to Marseille’s port, the Digue du Large is a maritime structure of crucial importance both to the city’s history and its economy. It was built to protect the port from the sea and provide safe shelter for the many ships passing through it. Booking required through the Tourist Office. Practical information:► Everyone on board, including infants, must have a reservation.► Access for people with reduced mobility and strollers is possible, although getting around on the cobblestones is difficult.
