Visite et rencontre artistique. Une histoire de la Friche au cœur des luttes sociales

CHRONIQUES – Resistances. A History of La Friche at the Heart of Social Struggles From October 23, 2026 to January 17, 2027, the fifth edition of the [Biennale des Imaginaires Numériques](https://chroniques-biennale.org/) will take place, with “Resistances” as its main theme. As a preview, CHRONIQUES invites you to discover the Biennale’s exhibition spaces and program. Through the still-visible traces of La Friche la Belle de Mai’s industrial past, as well as more recent demands, the visit will bring to life the stories of the social struggles that have marked the site. As part of this event, meet artist Olivier Bémer, who will present his new project, Do not Feed the Troll, a work in progress that will be shown for the first time at La Friche during the Biennale. He will speak in particular about the perruque: a workers’ practice consisting of diverting production tools and working time for one’s own benefit (rather than the company’s). From inside this former tobacco factory, we will explore together several strategies of resistance and struggle—from more radical forms such as strikes to more innocuous ones such as the perruque—devised by workers to improve their daily lives and aspire to a better life. September 19 and 20 at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Mediation: Ilona Carmona Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
