VNIGHTS (short for Vogue Nights) is an event showcasing the emerging ballroom scene and Marseille’s LGBTQIA+ community. Created by YANAKA 007, an active member of the ballroom scene, this accessible, welcoming and open-to-everyone format is your ticket into the competition (or just to party) ✨

Each VNIGHT has its own theme and takes place in 3 parts: 8:30 p.m.: Performance, Warm-up, Initiation 9:30 p.m.: Ball, 6 to 10 categories 10:30 p.m.: After-party DJ SETS

We are back to play revolutionary tricks on you, and for our third edition, there is only one motto: Revolution is SEXY.

For all categories, find your inspiration in revolutionary movements that are shaking up or have shaken up the established order; from the Yellow Vests to Western extractivism, it is up to you to carry your message loud and proud, because in 2026, REVOLUTION IS SEXY!

• Ballroom is a space reserved for people from the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly BIPOC (Black, Indigenous & People of Color) people! Please do not participate in this event if you cannot respect our identities and our bodies.

• This ball is a public event open to spectators. Only participants have the right to film, for their personal use. Our photographers and videographers may capture our moments of shine, with consented use only.

• Only community members may film or take photos for the Sex Siren, Body and Realness categories. However, we cannot guarantee that no images will be taken despite our controls.

• White participants must always refrain from wearing braids, afro wigs, etc.! If you nevertheless show up in this attire, we will be forced to expel you from the evening!

• What is Ballroom? Ballroom is an underground subculture created by and for the BIPOC LGBTQIA+ community. We remind all participants that this event is subject to safety and etiquette rules.
