A member of 13 Block, the now-legendary group—currently on hiatus—with its dark, street rap packed with atmospheric anthems that spilled beyond the streets to tell the story of its era (Vide, Fuck le 17, Vrai Négro, Balayer...), the rapper from Sevran has claimed the lion’s share of the space he created for himself. He polishes his formula successfully (Joli, Jauné, Cimenter…), saying he mixes “Melodies and thoughts”.
Between sung melancholy and ferociously punchy sounds, Zed reinvents himself and advances a new vision initiated in the track Nephilim. This is the name he chose for his project released on January 30, 2026. He wears the insignia of a hero of a scene now criticized for favoring form over substance. With ZED, everything is there: polished videos, sharp styling. He has all the makings of a hitman who gives the impression of doing everything effortlessly.
In these dark yet occasionally bright times, with Nephilim Part. I, Zed once again succeeds in creating the ideal soundtrack for putting our feelings about the era into words.
