Borel

A hillside neighborhood shaped by the Borel family

Borel, also referred to as Les Borels, is a neighborhood in Marseille’s 15th arrondissement, next to Saint-Antoine and Les Aygalades. Its name comes from the Borel family, who owned the main farm estate overlooking the railway line. The City of Marseille lists it among the neighborhoods of the arrondissement.
