East of Marseille, Saint-Julien is a residential district in the 12th arrondissement, perched at an altitude of 160 metres. Its village core overlooks the Caillols depression and is shaped by narrow, steep streets, houses, bastides and a few green spaces, while the Marseille Canal provides a setting for walks.
