A neighborhood in Marseille’s 11th arrondissement, Saint-Menet has deep roots: it belonged to Saint-Victor Abbey from the 11th century and was once known as Saint-Menne or Saint-Malme. Its former territory included La Millière, La Barasse, and parts of La Valentine and Saint-Marcel before gradually being divided into smaller areas.
