The classic of Provençal Christmas traditions! The Calendale season is filled with magic; lately, there has been something in the air! So many activities, joy and excitement for young and old alike! Some shepherds tell us... That santons are flowers picked in winter... And even that at night they wake up and stir... And even that some people become santons, thanks to imagination—or reality! So many wonderful childhood memories return to us: Saint Barbara, the Cacho fio, the Calendale table, Midnight Mass, the Christmas tree and its presents, the nativity scene and its santons, the pastorales, sharing, love and kindness, to celebrate the Nativity in the hope of a coming year filled with joy, abundance and generosity! Let this little show, created without pretension, be told to you, with all the passionate volunteers under heaven and on earth having put their whole hearts and enthusiasm into this evocation of the pastorales of the santons of our beautiful Provence… Based on the pastorales of: Antoine Maurel, Yvan Audouard and Jean-François Audibert, with the Tradition associations!
