Celtic Legends - tournée anniversaire 25 ans

For its 25th anniversary, the legendary Irish troupe Celtic Legends will perform throughout France from January 30 to March 25, 2027, and in Marseille at Le Cepac Silo on March 21! Celtic Legends will take audiences on a two-hour musical and theatrical journey, to their great delight, where virtuosity and dazzling spins will be on the agenda, to the feverish rhythms of “Tap Dance” and age-old Irish melodies imbued with gentle melancholy. Dressed in sumptuous, multicolored costumes, the dancers will perform these essential Irish dances, meticulously choreographed by the creative Jacintha Sharpe, who has been there since the very beginning. This suspended moment outside of time is an ode to Celtic culture, where spectators are carried away by the rhythm of the tap dancing, enhanced by Irish sounds performed by five musicians on traditional instruments such as the Uilleann Pipe (Irish bagpipes), flute, violin, Bodhran (drum) and guitar. For many years, the talented musical director Sean Mc Carthy has infused the music with an authentic quality, both in its creation and its performance. More than a simple show, Celtic Legends has continued to surprise its audience, crossing generations for 25 years and transporting more than 3 million spectators in 40 countries into its imaginative world! The magic of this show is still at work, leaving an indelible mark of this extraordinary contemporary heritage of Irish cultural heritage.
