Celtic Legends - tournée anniversaire 25 ans

Celtic Legends will take audiences on a two-hour musical and theatrical journey, much to their delight, where virtuosity and dazzling spins will be on display, set to the frenzied rhythms of “Tap Dance” and age-old Irish melodies imbued with gentle melancholy. Dressed in sumptuous, multicoloured costumes, the dancers will perform these essential Irish dances, meticulously choreographed by the creative Jacintha Sharpe, who has been with the troupe since the very beginning. This timeless suspended moment is an ode to Celtic culture, in which the audience is carried away by the rhythm of the tap dancing, enhanced by the Irish sounds performed by five musicians on traditional instruments such as the Uilleann Pipe (Irish bagpipe), flute, violin, Bodhran (drum) and guitar. For many years, the talented musical director Sean Mc Carthy has infused the music with an authentic character, both in its creation and performance. More than a simple show, Celtic Legends has continued to surprise audiences across generations for 25 years, transporting more than 3 million spectators into the imagination in 40 countries! The magic of this show is still at work, leaving an indelible mark of this extraordinary contemporary heritage of Irish cultural tradition.
