National final of the student public-speaking competition “Manger aujourd’hui, nourrir demain”! Come and hear the arguments of committed young people on agricultural, food and climate issues. After several months of awareness-raising and public-speaking training, the finalists will present their proposals for a fairer, more sustainable food system. An inspiring evening giving young people a voice in public debate. Aix-Marseille University Saint-Charles Campus Nine students from all over France will take the stage to defend their vision of the agriculture and food system of tomorrow. After several months of learning about agricultural, food and climate issues, civic reflection and public-speaking training, the finalists of the national public-speaking competition “Manger aujourd’hui, nourrir demain” will present their arguments before a jury, a panel of experts and the public. Each finalist will have four minutes to persuade and share their proposals on essential issues: access to quality food, agricultural transition, social justice, food sovereignty and the fight against climate change. On the program: • Speeches by the 9 finalists; • Responses from a panel of experts from the nonprofit, institutional and research sectors; • Presentation of the awards by the jury; • An exhibition of civic contributions written by the students; • Opportunities to talk with the project's partners and participants. Beyond the competition, this evening is an opportunity for dialogue and collective reflection on the major food challenges of our time. It aims to give a voice to a generation that will be directly confronted with the consequences of today's agricultural, food and climate choices. 📅 Tuesday, October 6, 2026 🕔 From 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 📍 Aix-Marseille University – Saint-Charles Campus (Marseille) 🎥 Event broadcast live and filmed in its entirety 🖼️ Exhibition of contributions and partners' area accessible from 4 p.m. Created by Bio Consom'acteurs and FAIRe un monde équitable, the public-speaking competition “Manger aujourd'hui, nourrir demain” enables students to express themselves on agricultural, food, social and climate issues. Throughout the year, participants are supported by specialized associations to deepen their understanding of these issues and by Éloquentia to develop their public-speaking skills. This second edition brought together 223 students across France. Around sixty of them, from five universities, wrote a civic contribution presenting their expectations for the future of agriculture and food. Of all the participants, nine finalists were selected for this major national final.
