I am a real thief: I draw from forgotten myths, nightmarish Disneys, worn-out female stars squeezed like lemons and the plastic little mermaids of my sugar-coated childhood, from Shakespeare’s tempest where we want to make room and be forgiven, from Britney Creepie Bitch on my worst New Year’s Day, from my alcoholic acrobat’s misadventures and fantasies that will keep me from becoming Virginie Despentes’ fantasized messiah-monster, from dubious resolutions and the life of false appearances; I am also possessed by the ghost of Dalidead, who returns from the underworld to truly die onstage in the arms of her beloved audience, I even steal the final scene from Ariane Mnouchkine’s film Molière—and I am Molière. I want to take my place, all of my place in the sun. It flows, it overflows. We want more... gimme gimme more!
