Three two-and-a-half-hour writing workshops led by Cie Totem 1- « Les interdits » Drawing on the book « Interdictions » by Annette Messager, write by drawing on memories, public space and the imagination, in order to reach the intimate. 2- « Faire le mur » A workshop that forms part of a broader theatrical writing process, previously conducted with students. Writing is climbing over the wall. Writing prompts such as improvised dialogues, exploring different points of view. 3- « D’où viens-tu, mauvaise ? » Continuing the work begun, we will move from gathering material to asking questions, escaping into the monologue, or even into the world. Workshops open to everyone aged 15 and over, for five to twelve people. Each workshop may be attended individually. In residence at the Centre Culturel René Char in Digne, the Totem company has been based in the Alpes de Haute Provence since 1996. It ventures into places rarely visited by culture: prisons, hospitals... Interested in questions of transmission and committed to theater that is always evolving, the company develops theatrical creation projects connected with contemporary writing. The workshop leaders hold a University Diploma in leading writing workshops. Sylvie Beaujard, director of Cie Totem for more than 20 years, has worked with Théâtre du Fil and Collectif Katibur, encountered the radio-creation workshop, and worked in cinema as Luc Moullet’s assistant. Marie Patou is an author and storyteller. She divides her time between theater, leading workshops (theater, writing, children's storytelling), storytelling for different audiences, and her writing projects (novels, poetry, theater).
