As the Badaboum théâtre approaches its thirty-fifth anniversary, it is delighted to continue offering performances for all ages, including the very youngest. A miller boasts before the king that his daughter can turn straw into gold. She is immediately married off. But what despair for the young miller’s daughter when it is time to turn the pile of straw into a thread of gold! Fortunately, a mysterious goblin saves the young girl from death by doing the work in her place, enabling her to rise rapidly through society. Except that, as payment, the mysterious goblin makes her promise her first child. A revolving set in the style of an old-fashioned carousel and strange characters inspired by magical animals create a colorful and tenderly unsettling show, delightfully dedicated to the youngest children—but not only them!
