2 Gars & 1 Indien

Marseille trio brought together in 2019 by a shared love of vibrant music, 2 Gars & 1 Indien passionately reinterprets the songs that move them, from Tom Waits to Luz Casal, as well as The Doors and Stevie Wonder. In an intimate acoustic setting, jazz, blues and folk intermingle, from their most delicate nuances to their most exuberant flourishes. After starting out playing covers, the trio went off on its own in 2021, to a rooftop in the Alps, to write its own songs. The result was “The Roof,” an eight-track debut album released in spring 2023, tracing the journey of a man seeking redemption. A personal repertoire at the crossroads of folk-blues and jazz tinged with soul and ’70s rock.
