About this event
Thank you for your understanding.
One man, one voice, one guitar—and it feels as if an entire orchestra has taken the stage. A virtuoso classical and flamenco guitarist who can make his instrument sound like a kora or a bongo, the New Yorker does it all, singing of love in a voice that could break your heart or imitating a trumpet in masterful vocal improvisations. From Herbie Hancock to Snoop Dogg, everyone wants to work with this maestro, whose art subtly synthesizes the major strands of American popular music (blues and soul, jazz and R&B, etc.). He has also worked with legends such as Bill Withers, Herbie Hancock, Sting, Terence Blanchard and Dianne Reeves, to name just a few. Blind since birth, Raul Midón lives in a world of sound: his performance knows no boundaries, he sings with the passion of the greatest classic soul singers, and his instrumental technique is worthy of the most accomplished jazz musicians.
