2 Gars & 1 Indien
Live jazz, blues, and folk at La Caravelle, on Marseille’s Vieux-Port
About this event
A Marseille trio together since 2019, united by a shared love of vibrant music, 2 Gars & 1 Indien passionately reworks the songs that move them: from Tom Waits to Luz Casal, including The Doors and Stevie Wonder. In an intimate acoustic setting, jazz, blues, and folk intertwine — in their most delicate nuances as well as their most exuberant moments. After starting out with covers, the trio retreated to a rooftop in the Alps in 2021 to write their own songs. The result was « The Roof », their first album of 8 tracks, released in spring 2023, which traces the journey of a man seeking redemption.
A personal repertoire at the crossroads of folk-blues and jazz tinged with soul and 70s rock.
