2 Gars & 1 Indien

A Marseille trio formed in 2019 around a shared love of vibrant music, 2 Gars & 1 Indien brings an intense new take to the songs that move them, from Tom Waits to Luz Casal, as well as The Doors and Stevie Wonder. In an intimate acoustic setting, jazz, blues and folk intertwine, from their most delicate nuances to their most exuberant moments. After starting out with covers, the trio retreated to a rooftop in the Alps in 2021 to write their own songs. The result was « The Roof », an eight-track debut album released in spring 2023, tracing the journey of a man in search of redemption. A personal repertoire at the crossroads of folk-blues and jazz tinged with soul and 1970s rock. Jonathan Azeroual (vocals, guitar) · Sébastien Alquier (double bass, dobro, backing vocals) · Paul Alberto (drums, backing vocals)
