Building territorial equality: Public engineering at the heart of solutions

5th IngéChef conference

The major transitions (climate, demographic, digital, industrial, energy, etc.) are profoundly transforming our territories.

They encounter existing territorial inequalities, sometimes reshape them and may create new disparities, but they can also open up new prospects for rebalancing.

In this respect, the Sud Region is a remarkable testing ground and forum for reflection, facing particularly contrasting challenges: metropolization, the coast, rural areas, mountains, climate change, pressure on resources and economic transformations.

How can public engineering help reduce territorial inequalities and turn these transitions into drivers for fairer, more balanced and more resilient territories?

Join us on November 12 and 13, 2026, at the Alcazar Library in Marseille for two days of reflection, discussion, experience-sharing and solutions among chief territorial engineers.

IngéChef’ has been the professional association for chief territorial engineers since 2018.

Our commitment and our work within local authorities aim to defend an efficient, inclusive and high-quality public service for citizens. We are particularly committed to demonstrating our ability to act as managers of ecological, economic, social, digital and civic transitions.

We are an association with numerous ambitions in the areas of transition and the transformation of public action.

Please feel free to join us to support this new momentum, contribute and challenge ideas, share your experiences and, why not, take part in some of our initiatives!
