The major transitions (climate, demographic, digital, industrial, energy-related, etc.) are profoundly transforming our territories.

They encounter existing territorial inequalities, sometimes reshape them and may create new divides, but can also open up new prospects for rebalancing.

In this respect, the South Region is a remarkable testing ground for experimentation and reflection, facing particularly contrasting challenges: metropolitan development, coastline, rural areas, mountains, climate change, pressure on resources and economic transformations.

How can public engineering help reduce territorial inequalities and turn these transitions into drivers of fairer, more balanced and more resilient territories?
