A l'écoute de nos émotions (14h)

A parent-and-child workshop for children aged 5 and up (through age 9), based on the audio series Nour, Marin et les perles de magie, a collection of stories that helps children better understand their emotions, needs, and relationships with others.

After listening to an episode, children and adults will be invited to talk and take part in activities about emotions: how to recognize them, welcome them, and use breathing to regain calm.

The workshop will be held twice, once at 14h and again at 15h15, so that two groups of 12 children and their parents/adult caregivers can take part. The workshop lasts 45 minutes, with a 30-minute break between sessions.

In 2020, we wanted to create a unique event in Marseille for 25 November to raise the visibility of violence against women and gender minorities and introduce our associations to the general public.

25 November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Established by the UN in 1999, it commemorates the three Mirabal sisters, Dominican activists brutally murdered on the orders of the current head of state, Rafael Trujillo.

For this occasion, we wanted to create something that would explore the difficult subject of violence from different angles. We therefore invited artists from Marseille to produce or co-create content related to this theme, using different formats and tools and engaging different audiences.

That is how J'crains dégun came about, and we are now opening its 4th edition!
