Bakélite Duo

Bakélite Duo offers a repertoire inspired by the great musicians and singers of the jazz swing era. Billie Holiday, Louis Prima, Frank Sinatra and Harry Belafonte come together on one stage to share a love of American music from the 1920s to the 1950s: old-time blues, lively swing and a few retro gems.

The duo is led by Karim Tobbi, a singer-guitarist from Marseille who specializes in North American music from the interwar years through the 1950s, accompanied on double bass by Patrick Ferné.

A light, elegant format and a warm, nostalgic atmosphere: swing just the way we like it, on the Vieux-Port. Karim Tobbi (vocals, guitar) · Patrick Ferné (double bass)
