Bakélite Duo

Bakélite Duo offers a repertoire inspired by the great musicians and singers of the jazz swing era. Billie Holiday, Louis Prima, Frank Sinatra and Harry Belafonte share the same stage, bringing to life a love of American music from the 1920s to the 1950s—with old-time blues, buoyant swing and a few retro gems. The duo is led by Karim Tobbi, a Marseille singer-guitarist specializing in North American music from the interwar years through the 1950s, accompanied on double bass by Patrick Ferné. A light, elegant format with a warm, nostalgic atmosphere: swing the way we love it, on the Old Port. Karim Tobbi (vocals, guitar) · Patrick Ferné (double bass)
