Clément Viktorovitch : l'art de ne pas dire

“L'art de ne pas dire” with Clément Viktorovitch

Single date

About this event

Clément Viktorovitch, a doctor of political science who is committed to making the subject accessible through the media (France Info, Clique, Quotidien), online (Twitch, Youtube) and in bookstores (Le Pouvoir Rhétorique, Logocratie), makes his stage debut in a biting work of fiction.

He plays the President of the Republic’s communications adviser, who, after being brutally ousted, seeks revenge. His weapon? A lecture in which he decides to reveal all the secrets they used to seize power…

Through this show, already 150,000 audience members have been able to take up tools for analyzing rhetoric and, more broadly, reflect on the damage that disloyal political speech can cause to our democratic life.

For many, this show has felt like an act of civic resistance beyond party politics; a celebratory moment to recognize the scale of manipulation, give voice to our indignation, overcome isolation and resignation, and come together.

In 2027, France will hold its presidential election. Perhaps the most important one. Perhaps the one that will tip the balance. For this final tour, Clément Viktorovitch presents a new version of L’art de ne pas dire, adapted for the large-scale format of zéniths and arenas. In these very venues, which will at the same time echo with the candidates’ campaign speeches, he invites us to experience an “anti-election rally” and celebrate our desire for civic engagement.

In the face of the deterioration of public debate and the toxicity of political rhetoric, will we really let this happen so easily?
