About this event
The evening opens with the Taylut troupe
Founded by the Hammache brothers, who come from a fourth generation of musicians and are heirs to a rich artistic heritage, TAYLUT draws inspiration from the heart of Amazigh musical traditions. Its originality lies in the harmonious fusion of several ancestral musical expressions, including the rhythms of the Idballen, the festive spirit of the Ifarahen and the traditional sounds of Boujlima. This artistic encounter creates an authentic, dynamic musical world deeply rooted in Amazigh culture.
Talk by SAID SADI: Chérif Kheddam, the liberating power of art Through the work of Chérif Kheddam, Saïd Sadi traces the journey of an artist whose music draws on Berber roots and Mediterranean influences. A major composer in independent Algeria, Kheddam was also deeply committed to freedom and the transmission of Amazigh identity. His work reflects a determination to make art a space for awareness, freedom and dignity. It is a journey in which creativity, faithfulness to one’s roots and the quest for freedom come together.
