To improve your swimming efficiency in the sea—your kick, arm pull, and breathing with a front-mounted snorkel or alternating sides—we offer this one-hour lesson led by an experienced athlete and instructor.

The Team Malmousque association was founded by open-water swimmers from Marseille who are passionate about the sea. We swim all year round, with only a pair of goggles between us and the waves, fish, and elements. As a result, we are also the first to witness changes in the marine environment, its pollution, and fluctuations in fish populations. We see firsthand the effects of coastal cities and global climate change on the marine environment. For this reason, our association has decided to dedicate itself to protecting the sea by raising public awareness and organizing beach cleanups, among other environmental activities.
L'Odyssée Massalia ( 2017-2019) was created by Team Malmousque and was the first environmentally friendly swimming competition in the region. We took numerous measures to limit our environmental impact while promoting environmental protection: reducing our carbon footprint by working with local partners or encouraging carpooling and public transport; providing refreshments made with organic and vegetarian food supplied by our partner Bio-Veyre; prohibiting the distribution of plastic bags, plastic cups, and plastic bottles in favor of recyclable and biodegradable products; providing our volunteers with organic T-shirts printed in Marseille; making ecological toilets available; and organizing a cleanup event at Les Goudes after the race in three different ways: on the beach with the public and volunteers; on the water's surface, including with members of Team Malmousque; and underwater while scuba diving with our partner « Un Océan de Vie ».
