David Fray

David Fray, piano Without the modest and generous art of transcription, certain music intended for everyone would have remained the jealously guarded treasure of a handful of initiates. By reducing an opera aria, a church choir or a symphony to a single keyboard, by adapting an organ prelude or a harpsichord piece for the home piano, the golden apples of the Garden of the Hesperides now belong to everyone. Marseille is delighted to welcome this eternally young man, who has won a loyal and grateful audience.

PROGRAM Works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Joseph-Nicolas-Pancrace Royer, François Couperin, Domenico Scarlatti, Jean-Philippe Rameau and Richard Wagner.
