Duo Vrod - Isnart : héritage et covoiturage

Telling the story of music is like saying nothing at all—it remains music. Or how two paths—Jean-François Vrod’s, that of a folk musician passionate about traditional fiddle and all the materials the world of oral tradition places under his fingers, and Cyril Isnart’s, that of an experienced researcher seeking interlocutors with whom to develop ideas—cross and intertwine in a moment of light yet incisive happiness.

For, as they themselves put it: “The interplay of social statuses and perspectives on cultural facts is disrupted, resulting in a fairer version and vision of what inspires us to continue making music, telling stories and engaging in rituals, again and again.”

With the joy of allowing ourselves to be surprised, we could all join them in the parallel universe they are fruitfully imagining.
